From an early age both Jake and Jill have loved what we’ll call the “arts and crafts” field. Going back to high school Jake loved his wood shop classes (building a china cabinet for his parents and a dresser for himself) while Jill always loved drawing and creating an array of things in her many arts classes (and even her woods class!!). Like many, life’s path sometimes takes you away from things like that and they’ve had the chance here to get back to that field with Jake n’ Jill’s Woodshop. Their sole purpose here is to make things that others will enjoy and can get use out of. Whether that’s decorative pieces for inside or outside your house, furniture, trendy items, signs, or custom requests we have a vast array of items to choose from. We have some regularly in stock items and always take custom orders. Check out our product catalog to get some ideas or if you have ideas of your own and want to see if we can help bring them to light, please reach out... we’re here for you and appreciate your business!

Its English name is Pine, derived from the Latin Pinus. The scientific name of pine is Pinus. Pine is a soft wood, but it is still hard, so it is chosen for use in furniture and in house construction.
Oaks are one of the oldest and most widely spread trees on this planet. They existed way before humans were here. Elegant furniture, flooring materials, cosmetic creams, and wine barrels are among many products that are being produced using oak trees.
One of the most enjoyed American hardwoods for its fine-yet-open grain, unique patterns, and bold dark color. Walnut is easy to cut, shape and sand, and the wood takes on an amazing look with a clear finish.
